April 28

The boys were busy making fire buckets for Snuffy Hollow campout.

Shoppers are shopping at Clinton Shop Rite, 6:30 pm Thursday.  If you signed up, don't forget.

All should be at the church at 4:00 Friday.  Lots to set up when they get there, so that's why the time is earlier than usual.

Don't forget Class A's for this one.

Family Campout in Baltimore, sign up sheets are posted on the web if you need them.  Lots to do, and our scouts will be taking part in the morning flag ceremony at Ft. McHenry.

New calendars through August were handed out.  Dates are on the web and more info will be posted as it becomes available.

There's still space available for summer camp at Trexler.  Contact Mrs. Molyneux for more info.

Anyone (14 or older) interested in COPES please let her know.

First year scouts will be working on OFC ('Operation First Class'), so they don't get to choose merit badges but can work on swimming, leatherwork, and basketry.

Older scouts should review requirements and start thinking about merit badges they want to complete.  Some have prerequisites.

She will be meeting with the boys individually to review selections.

Adult Meeting next week upstairs in the church 7:30 while the boys are meeting downstairs.  Info on summer camp and sign ups for various adult positions needed to make the troop run smoothly.  New parents strongly encouraged to attend, all are welcome.

While you're there, please check the lost and found.  Large assortment of misplaced loot.  Claim it or it will be donated!

Mr. Jaszyn is getting together a group for sailing merit badge.  Those interestred must have already earned first aid and swimming requirements.

Space is extremely limited, but if there's enough interest, a second group is possible.

Frontiers Camp paperwork and final payment due to Mr. Jaszyn.  Please try to get it to him by 5/5 meeting.

Jamboree payments are due to the troop, not council.  Still one spot available.  Jambo Troop number 136 has been assigned to our boys.

Meeting on 5/17 (Sunday) from 3-5 at the church for all Jambo participants.  Parents should plan on attending this meeting.
