The boys had a presentation on Snuffy Hollow Invitational Camporee.  It will be the first weekend in May in Helmetta, NJ and is the next camp out.  Competitive Scouting, lashing, fire starting, cleanup etc.  They should have brought home forms.  Note that the train leaves at 4 pm from the church for this one and not the normal 6pm

Rick Jasyn is looking for a few more scouts to assist in Webelo’s Weekend in Yards Creek May 15-17 as Den Chiefs.  If interested contact Rick.

Check lost and found.  If any new scout needs a backpack or sleeping bag there was one for the asking – see Chris Neighbor

Next troop event is Earth Day.  Each member of a patrol has been asked to bring a specific type of drink to the April 21^st meeting (the Tuesday before ED).  Ask your scout what he’s supposed to bring.  Since there will be many scouts at this one there will be an alternate event – inventorying (via setup) of all the Troop’s tents!

One Troop slot left for Jamboree.  There will be a meeting on May 17 from 3-5 at the church for all going to Jambo.  Email will be sent with 2 attachments, 1) permission slip, 2) questionnaire.  Both need to be brought to the meeting.  Need to pay troop for all Jambo payments – make checks out to “Troop 288”

First deposits are now due for Summer Trexler campout $110.00

Justin has Chicken Pox – they let everyone know so that the kids can tell their parents.
